


The following terms and conditions apply between 2nds Appliances ABN 41 769 069 467 (“2nds Appliances/we/us”) and “you”, for the delivery of “big and bulky” goods purchased from 2nds Appliances (the “Goods”) to premises specified by you (“Premises”), and, where applicable, to the removal of similar goods (“Old Goods”).
Order Cut Off: Orders received before 2:00 PM (AEST) will be processed the same day. Orders placed after this time will be processed the next business day.
Handling Time: For all In stock items, there is a handling time of 0-1 days. Goods will be processed and dispatched as soon as possible.
Transit Time: Delivery to all destinations will take between 0-14 business days. This may vary depending on your location.
Total Delivery Time: The estimated delivery time based on customer location will be 0-15 business days. You will receive an estimated delivery window when the Goods are ready for shipment.
Payment and Delivery Agreement: Subject to payment of any applicable price at the time of purchase, 2nds Appliances will deliver the Goods to the Premises and, where applicable, remove the Old Goods in accordance with these terms & conditions.
Delivery Scheduling: While we do not offer set delivery times, we will contact you by 12 PM on the day of delivery to provide an estimated window. The driver will also contact you before arrival. Delivery may be affected by factors outside of 2nds Appliances’ control, such as adverse weather conditions, traffic, sickness, and unexpected issues arising from providing services to other customers. 2nds Appliances cannot guarantee delivery at the prearranged time and day. Where we cannot attend within the expected delivery window, we will provide you with as much notice as possible and arrange another delivery day with you. If you are unsure of your delivery time or day, please contact the store where you purchased the Goods.
Extended Delivery Times: Delivery of Goods, particularly large items such as televisions, large kitchen appliances, laundry appliances, and air conditioners, to areas like the Northern Territory, Western Australia, Tasmania, remote/isolated areas, and island communities may have extended delivery times and are subject to local transport schedules. Goods may need to be collected from the closest local barge or freight company, in which case you will be responsible for arranging final delivery (including any additional costs) with the barge or freight company to your nominated address. If third-party charges apply to delivery, 2nds Appliances will contact you prior to delivery to inform you of such charges.
Cancellation or Changes: You must provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you wish to cancel your delivery or change the delivery day. You can contact us using the contact method provided. If the Premises are unattended upon arrival, we will wait 15 minutes. If still unattended, we will leave and send you an SMS to arrange another delivery day, which may be up to 48 hours after the failed delivery. If no notice is provided, 2nds Appliances reserves the right to charge you reasonable costs for the failed delivery and for rearranging the delivery.
Access Requirements: You must ensure that a delivery vehicle (requiring up to 12.5 metres to park) can park immediately outside the entrance to the Premises. 2nds Appliances reserves the right to refuse to deliver and/or remove Old Goods where it is unable to park within 20 metres of the entrance to the Premises. If this occurs, 2nds Appliances will provide you with a refund of the fees paid for services that cannot be performed. Any applicable parking charges are your responsibility.
Pets and Safety: You must ensure that any pets are placed in a secure location during the delivery process. The term “Delivery Process” includes both the delivery of the Goods and, if applicable, the removal of Old Goods.
Damages: 2nds Appliances will take reasonable care, but cannot guarantee that floors or walls will not incur minor scuffing, dirt, or indentations during the Delivery Process. We suggest that you cover floors or walls to protect them. For Occupational Health and Safety reasons, delivery persons are unable to remove their work boots indoors. Our team makes every effort to maintain clean working boots, but if this concerns you, please consider organising your own contractor.
Delivery and Removal Conditions: You are responsible for ensuring the route(s) to the delivery location are clear of obstacles and that the floors and stairs/steps are strong enough to bear the weight of the Goods and/or Old Goods. 2nds Appliances is not responsible for any damage caused by unsuitable premises, except where caused by our negligence.
Premium Delivery: Premium Delivery is available for selected white goods, laundry appliances, and TVs. Premium Delivery includes unpacking the Goods, removing packaging, ensuring proper placement, and connecting washing machines to accessible plumbing. This service is available only in limited circumstances and will be advised at the time of purchase.
Required Connections: You are responsible for ensuring electrical, water, and drainage facilities are available, in good condition, and compatible with the Goods. If these facilities are unsuitable, the Goods will be delivered, but not connected. A refund will be issued for the connection portion of the delivery fee.
Risk Transfer: The risk of loss, damage, or theft of the Goods passes to you once the Goods are delivered to the Premises.
Proof of Delivery: You will be required to sign a Proof of Delivery, confirming that the Goods were delivered and documenting any visible damage to the Goods or Premises. The delivery person may take photos to document any issues.
Post-Delivery Inspection: You are strongly advised to inspect the Goods for physical damage upon delivery. Any damage should be noted on the Proof of Delivery. If the Goods are not unpacked during delivery, establishing the cause of damage can be difficult.
Old Goods: If Old Goods are to be removed, they must be emptied, cleaned, disconnected from power and water, and safe to handle. Gas and hard-wired electrical disconnections must be carried out by a licensed tradesperson. 2nds Appliances will not disconnect gas or electrical connections.
Failure to Meet Obligations: If you fail to provide accurate information or meet your obligations, 2nds Appliances may refuse delivery and/or removal, or require payment of additional fees to perform the service.
Consumer Law: These terms do not exclude any rights or remedies provided by the Australian Consumer Law. If the delivery service fails to meet consumer guarantees, we will remedy the issue as required by law.
Returns and Change of Mind: If you wish to return unused and unopened Goods, please refer to our Return Policy. You will be responsible for the return delivery fee.
